Chandlery

Licence

What you may and may not do with Chandlery.

Chandlery is a paid, source-available product. It is not open source. The full terms ship as LICENSE in the repository; this page is the plain-language summary.

What you bought

One purchase licenses one person, or one team inside a single company. The licence does not expire, and it includes every future version for as long as the product exists.

You may

  • Use it as the starting point for any number of your own projects, commercial or otherwise. No per-project fee, no revenue share.
  • Modify it however you like.
  • Deploy the result publicly, sell access to it, and keep everything you earn.
  • Let contractors and employees use it while working on your projects.
  • Publish your own project's source, including parts derived from the starter, as long as the result is a real product of yours and not a redistribution of the starter.

You may not

  • Resell, sublicense, rent or give away the starter, in whole or in substantial part, as a starter, template, boilerplate or scaffold.
  • Publish it, or a derivative whose main value is the starter itself, to a public repository, marketplace or course.
  • Share your repository access or licence key outside the person or team above.
  • Use it to build a product that competes with it as a starter kit.

In short: build and sell anything you want with it; do not build a business out of handing it on.

What you own

Everything you write is yours. The licence claims nothing over your application code, your content, your data or your customers.

Refunds

Fourteen days from purchase, no reasons needed — the full policy is at /refunds. A refund ends the licence: stop using the starter in new work and do not distribute it further. Projects you have already shipped are not clawed back.

No warranty

The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. You run it on your own Cloudflare account, under your own terms with your own users, and you are responsible for what you deploy.
